Below is a very short summary of two important subjects which were decided in the Administration Board meeting on January 23, 2013:

Category III Fees:

The school direction and the PA agreed and put forward the proposal to keep the increase in Category III fees to 20% for students not already enrolled in the 2012/13 School year applicable for the year 2013/14. This proposal was rejected at the School Admin Board meeting by both the Secretary General’s office and the European Commission.

Both the SG and the Commission suggested that a 25-30% increase would be more appropriate for Frankfurt due to the political discussions on the need for a school extension to be tabled at the next Board of Governors meeting in March 2013. However after further discussions the school agreed to an increase of 25% which was approved by all Admin Board Members except for the PA Reps.

 

SWALS Reps in PedComms

The joint proposal of the school and the PA to include SWALs reps in the Secondary and Primary PedComms was approved by all members present at the Admin Board.
