Dear Parents,

As you are aware, Childminding will not take place as per usual after the Easter break. In the last weeks EuroKids Childcare provider Global Education has been working hard on an alternative offer to support parents through this extraordinary situation with combining family and work/working from home.

During the Easter Break pme and also this week Childminding has successfully started an alternative programme for the holiday camps. This week we offered 2 hours of virtual holiday fun daily with a small group. Through video conferences the participating children interacted with the assigned group and are accompanied individually by a constant Childminder, through a diverse programme of arts and crafts offers, exchange in the groups, playing games together and short movement games.

Building on the positive experiences of this week, we have prepared a ‘Virtual Childminding’ for the following two weeks. Our offer ‘Virtual Childminding’ is bookable for all children of the European School (Pre-Primary to Secondary 2) whose parents are members of the parents’ association.

Hours: The care in a fixed, as homogeneous as possible small group with about 6 children takes place daily between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm.

Programme: Each group will start with a greeting and an exchange, followed by playing, arts and crafts, movement games, puzzling and telling stories.

Required Technology: Each participating child needs a digital device such as a computer or tablet. Siblings can also take part on one device together, but this will affect the division of the groups, which will be made up of the respective classes if possible.

Upon registration, parents receive more detailed information about the required material and technical information.

Parents can book our offer on a weekly basis (4 days each) at 39€ per week. Week 1 takes place from 21.04 until 24.04.2020 and week 2 from 27.04 until 30.04.2020. As usual, the fee will be debited by EuroKids gGmbH after the booking.

If you are interested in the ‚virtual Childminding‘, parents can book their child/children with a short e-mail, with an indication, which week/s they would like to book to (

Every Registration to the ‚virtual Childminding’ is binding. With the Registration to the virtual programme you agree to the terms and conditions (see web page of the parents’ association). We allocate the places on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
