The Parents’ Association supports the family-life balance of our members by offering services like Childminding, Afternoon Activities, School Buses and Holiday Camps via our subsidiary EuroKids gGmbH. We represent the voice of all ESF Parents in a variety of committees and support the school on everything that happens outside the classroom and contributes to the school community.

Childminding, Holiday Activities, Afternoon Activities & School Bus
I would like to use this opportunity to welcome you all into the new school year. I am both excited and privileged to be part of the EuroKids Team serving the needs of parents and children at ESF. I am looking forward to a successful year and would warmly receive any feedback you may have on our services.
Felix Walderdorff and Klaudia Mager have been working hard with myself to ensure a smooth transition of services from the Parents Association to EuroKids.
Contact details and answers to questions related to the transition of services previously run by the PA and now run by EuroKids can be found on our EuroKids page. Should you have further questions with regards to EuroKids which are not answered there please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sommerfest ESF 2017
We have earned the fabulous weather! (Photos are on the website for logged-in members)
After many years of alternating weather and the 2016 thunderstorm, we had a stable weather forecast this time, so we were able to set up everything outside on Friday for the first time in years. Moving the heavy tables and benches in the secondary canteen for the food stands required 2 hours of full muskel use and good planning together with 4 pupils from the S6 with the caretakers - thanks a lot for the help.
Anna Skrzypczynska, Tanja Kuhn Werner and Dorothee Sevet helped us on Friday with the small but important preparations such as signposting, garbage bags, laying our programs pavilion inscription and much more. Thanks to you too!
Saturday morning there was still a lot to prepare. At this point, we would like to thank the few who have responded to our call for help: Michael and Leonard Hofmann (father and son), Jens Milde, Fabrice Quack (all fathers), Wendy Robertet with daughter, Renata Baum (sports instructor) and Todor Kisov, a father whose children will be at our school only from September 2017, has asked if he can help.
Organizers and their helpers from 18 (!) Nations have again agreed to prepare food stands. The decorations and the dishes are more varied and beautiful every year! Many thanks to all involved - we are dependent on your commitment to the success of the party. Unfortunately, apart from the S4 Charity Club and the S6 BAC Committee, only the S2 DEA Class has registered with its very professional popcorn stand. No other classes were there - we thought that was a pity!

The Booklists for Secondary School Year 2017/18 have been put online by the school. This leaves parents time over the summer holidays to sort through the books they have, contact parents from higher classes for used books, or purchase the books required, as well as the TI N-Spire calculator required for S4 and up.
If you have books you no longer need but they are still on the list, you might consider offering them via our "Book Exchange" Feature on this webpage.
Parents whose membership with the Parents' Association is ending by the end of the school year and who want to sell their books, should enter the books before 31 July.

The Annual General Meeting last November mandated the Board to establish a limited liability company that will take over the PA’s core services: childminding, holiday camps, afternoon activities and transport. We are happy to inform you that the long process has come to an end. On 24 May we signed the notarial deed establishing the company, which will operate under the name of EuroKids.
