INVITATION
to the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Parents’ Association of the European School Frankfurt
which will take place on
25th November 2020 at 18.30.
via Webex videoconference.
Due to the special circumstances and current preventive measures in place, the annual general assembly will be organised remotely, via Webex videoconference. Voting will be organised by using online tool Live Vote.
Instructions about registration to the meeting, access credentials to connect to the Webex, as well as to the voting system will be distributed in due time, prior to the meeting.

Donation of laptops
Dear parents,
In the context of the closure of the school in March 2020, and of the rapid organisation of distance learning, the ECB charity EuroHope has played a key role in supporting students and teachers with appropriate IT equipment.
Between mid-April and end-June, more than 230 laptops have been distributed to students and teachers, both from primary and from secondary.

Back To School 2020
Liebe Eltern,
Wir freuen uns, bekannt geben zu können, dass die EuroKids-Dienste mit dem neuen Schuljahr 2020-2021 wieder aufgenommen werden sollen. Die Gesundheit und Sicherheit der Kinder bleibt unsere oberste Priorität, und wir werden angesichts der aktuellen Umstände zusätzliche Hygienemaßnahmen einführen. Eltern, die für EuroKids-Dienste angemeldet sind, werden bezüglich der Einzelheiten für ihre Kinder kontaktiert.
Obwohl EuroKids als Kinderbetreuungseinrichtung lockereren Hygienevorschriften unterliegt als die Schulen, werden wir sicherstellen, dass unsere Gesundheits- und Sicherheitspraktiken über die gesetzlichen Vorschriften hinausgehen und die der ESF so weit wie möglich widerspiegeln.
Wir werden unser Bestes tun, um sicherzustellen, dass die Dienstleistungen für die Kinder so normal wie möglich wieder aufgenommen werden, und wir sind bereit, flexibel auf mögliche Änderungen der staatlichen Vorschriften und ESF-Richtlinien zu reagieren.
Wir wünschen Ihnen und Ihrer Familie einen gesunden Start in das Schuljahr.

Welcome coffee with hidden smiles
On 18 September, the Parents Association arranged its Annual Welcome Coffee, where new parents were invited to get to know to the school better, meet other parents, and to gather information about the school and extra services, as well practical information about the life in Frankfurt and Germany.
Many interested parents attended to the event and we believe everyone enjoyed themselves and left satisfied, though they had to hide their smiles behind their masks this year.
